Harry Brook has challenged England to maintain their position at the top of the ICC T20I rankings after a dominant 3-0 series sweep over Sri Lanka. England sealed an eight-wicket victory in the third and final T20I at Emirates Old Trafford, completing a comprehensive series whitewash and reclaiming the No. 1 ranking from India. The result capped an impressive run for England, who have now won 23 of their last 26 completed T20 matches, including seven victories in succession. Their rise in the format began after Brook was appointed limited-overs captain at the start of last summer. England had previously climbed to the top of the rankings after a 4-0 T20I series victory over India earlier this summer, but India regained the position after beating Zimbabwe.
