Marnus Labuschagne’s place in Australia’s Test team is once again under serious scrutiny after coach Andrew McDonald admitted that the experienced batter “needs some big runs” following Australia’s disappointing defeat to Bangladesh in Darwin. Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto hailed his team’s collective effort after Bangladesh secured a historic nine-wicket victory over Australia in the first Test in Darwin, saying the entire squad deserved the Player-of-the-Match award.
