About
Prasidh Krishna burst onto the scene in 2015, taking 5 for 49 on his first-class debut against a touring Bangladesh side—grabbing a wicket off his very first delivery. Though opportunities were limited early on, the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy proved to be his breakthrough, where he finished as the second-highest wicket-taker with 17 scalps in 8 games, including a match-winning spell in the final.
A product of the MRF Pace Foundation under Glenn McGrath and mentored by Jeff Thomson, Prasidh modeled his action on Brett Lee and quickly developed into one of India's fastest bowlers.
