About

Mohammad Hussain Talat, a left-handed batsman from Lahore, made an immediate impact in domestic cricket with a sensational start to his List A career — amassing 272 runs in his first four matches at an average of 90.66, including a highest score of 141. His early promise was recognized when, at just 16 years old, he was offered a contract by Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) during the Ramadan T20 Cup in Karachi.

Talat's reputation grew during the President’s Cup, where he produced impressive scores of 67, 52, and an unbeaten 141*, highlighting his ability to play long and impactful innings. His consistent performances earned him a place in the Pakistan U-19 squad during the 2013–14 season.

A naturally gifted batsman, Talat also contributes with the ball, bowling steady medium pace. Over time, he has developed into a useful all-rounder, particularly in red-ball cricket where he plays a more balanced role with both bat and ball. In white-ball formats, he primarily features as a batter but can offer valuable overs when needed.

His all-round capabilities, combined with a strong foundation in domestic cricket, make him a promising prospect for Pakistan. With undeniable talent and continued consistency, a national call-up could be well within reach.
