About
Grace Harris, hailing from Queensland, is one of the most impactful all-rounders in Australian women’s cricket today. Known for her explosive power-hitting and reliable off-spin, Harris brings a rare blend of aggression and utility to any team she represents.
Her journey began with Queensland Fire in the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL), where she quickly rose through the ranks. She was signed by the Brisbane Heat for the inaugural WBBL season (2015–16) and made headlines with a stunning all-round performance—scoring a century and taking four wickets against the Sydney Sixers. That same year, she earned her maiden international call-up, replacing Delissa Kimmince on Australia's tour of Ireland.
Harris made her ODI debut soon after, during a home series against India, and has since remained in the mix for both international duty and domestic T20 leagues. She had a brief stint with the Melbourne Renegades in the 2016–17 WBBL, before returning to Brisbane Heat, where she continues to be a key figure.
Her franchise cricket résumé also includes spells with the London Spirit in The Hundred and the UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), where she is known for her fearless batting in the middle and death overs.
Harris was a member of Australia’s World Cup-winning squad in 2022 and helped the team clinch gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. She was also part of the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup squad and played a role in Australia’s dominant Ashes whitewash later that year.
With her natural athleticism, game-changing abilities, and experience across top leagues, Grace Harris continues to be a vital cog in Australia’s cricketing machine.
