Ben Mike - a bowling all-rounder from Leicestershire made his first-class debut against Sussex in September 2018. It was a dream debut for Mike as he bagged nine wickets in that match. The opposition had the likes of Archer, hence Leicestershire couldn't do much against Jofra’s raw pace and they lost the match. On the contrary, Mike had a fantastic start to his career though.
A few months ago came his List A debut wherein the opposition was India A, and once again Leicestershire was on the losing side, mainly due to the centuries by Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal. India A posted a massive score of 458 against Leicestershire and won that match by a compelling margin of 281 runs. Mike conceded 46 runs in only 3 overs against India A openers and with the bat too, his contribution was nothing to brag about.
