Having been signed by Middlesex when he was 18, Tom Helm made his debut for Middlesex in 2013 against Yorkshire. A tall and lean fast bowler, Helm can extract bounce and pace off the wicket which can get batsmen into trouble. However, with a fast bowler come injuries and that his been the case with this lad. Although, Tom Helm has been a part of Middlesex since half-a-decade but has played only close to 20 first-class matches. Major reason being the injuries he suffered in his early career - a stress fracture and an ankle injury to be specific.

Apart from playing for Middlesex, he also plays for the England Lions and often tours with them. Helm dons jersey number 7 in the limited-over formats and loves Indian cuisine.
