About
Mukesh Choudhary, originally from Bhilwara, moved to Maharashtra in search of better cricketing opportunities. He made his domestic debut in the 2017–18 season at the age of 21 in a Ranji Trophy match against Railways cricket team. He followed it up with an impressive performance in the 2019 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Choudhary was picked by Chennai Super Kings for the 2022 Indian Premier League season, where he got multiple opportunities due to injuries to key bowlers. He made a strong impression with his new-ball discipline and ability to swing the ball.
He missed the 2023 IPL season due to injury. In 2024, he featured in just one game for CSK, slipping down the pecking order. Although released ahead of the mega auction, Mukesh Choudhary was re-signed by Chennai Super Kings for the 2025 IPL season.
