Krunal Pandya has established himself as one of the Indian Premier League’s most dependable all-rounders, known for his explosive left-handed batting and disciplined left-arm spin. Hailing from Vadodara, Krunal began his cricketing journey at Kiran More’s academy, where he developed alongside his younger brother Hardik Pandya. One of the defining moments of his career came in the IPL final against Rising Pune Supergiant, where he scored a crucial 47 runs to help Mumbai recover from 79/7 and post a winning total of 129. That IPL success followed an impressive domestic campaign with Baroda cricket team, where Krunal finished as the team’s leading run-scorer and wicket-taker in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His performances earned him selection for India A’s tri-series involving South Africa A cricket team and Afghanistan A cricket team.

Krunal’s growing reputation was reflected during the 2018 IPL auction, where his value soared to INR 8.8 crore before Mumbai Indians used their Right To Match card to retain him.
