About

Corbin Bosch, son of former South African cricketer Tertius Bosch, is an emerging all-rounder who has steadily risen through the ranks of South African cricket. A member of the victorious South Africa U-19 squad that won the 2014 ICC U-19 World Cup in Dubai, Bosch played a starring role in the final, taking 4/15 and earning the Player of the Match award.

Overcoming personal tragedy at a young age—his father passed away in 2000 when Corbin was just five—he channelled his energy into cricket and made his U-19 World Cup debut on the 14th anniversary of his father's death, symbolising his deep connection to the game.

Bosch made his T20 debut for the Titans shortly after his U-19 success but struggled to replicate his early performances consistently. Nonetheless, he remained a strong presence in South Africa’s domestic circuit and gradually built his profile through franchise opportunities. He featured in the 2022 Caribbean Premier League with the Barbados Royals and joined the Paarl Royals in the inaugural SA20 League.

In 2023, Bosch was selected for South Africa A’s tour of Sri Lanka, where he featured in both List A and first-class matches. His strong performances earned him a national call-up later that year, first as a replacement in the ODI squad for the series against Pakistan, and then in the Test side.

Bosch made an instant impact in his Test debut during the 2023 Boxing Day Test, scoring a crucial 81 that helped South Africa recover from a difficult position. The Proteas went on to win the match, securing their place in the World Test Championship final.

In 2025, Corbin Bosch’s growing stock was recognised in the IPL, where he was signed by the Mumbai Indians as an injury replacement for Lizaad Williams.
