Hailing from rural Madhya Pradesh, Kranti Goud is a promising medium-fast bowler who has been turning heads with her performances in the 2025 Women’s Premier League (WPL). A product of the dusty grounds and narrow lanes where tennis ball cricket ruled the day, Goud’s early training was raw and instinctive—but deeply effective.
Her coaches gave her just one piece of advice that stuck: “Run fast and bowl quick.” That simple mantra became the foundation of her cricketing journey.
Goud’s breakthrough came in the 2024 Women’s Senior One Day Cup, where she claimed 17 wickets, including an outstanding 4 for 25 in the final, helping Madhya Pradesh lift the coveted title. Her pace and aggression made her stand out among the domestic circuit’s best.
Initially brought into the UP Warriorz setup as a net bowler during the 2024 WPL season, Goud’s potential was evident. She was signed at base price the following year and is now making the most of her opportunity on the big stage.
With raw pace, a fearless mindset, and a hunger to rise, Kranti Goud is quickly becoming one of the most exciting fast-bowling prospects in Indian women’s cricket.
