Several Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise owners are expected to explore opportunities, with the aim of identifying a preferred buyer ahead of the BBL 2026-27 season, which begins on December 12. Renegades and Hurricanes on Govil's Radar Govil confirmed that he is monitoring the Renegades' sale process but acknowledged that competition among prospective buyers could be intense. "I'm interested in the Renegades, it's on the radar," Govil told ESPNcricinfo. "But I think there are going to be a lot of big players who will be interested. I need to focus on what I am capable of doing. I don't want to get into a bidding war." That's how I see it."
